Marion, Ohio – Positive News Network, Inc. (PNN) is pleased to announce the acquisition of WMNO-CD, TV 22.1 in Marion, Ohio. WMNO is a Class A television station licensed by the Federal Communications Commission to serve Marion, Ohio. WMNO-CD can also be viewed on Time Warner Cable channel 3.

PNN will begin providing programming services immediately under a Time Brokerage Agreement while waiting for FCC approval of the sale which is expected to take place in August.

PNN is comprised of local Marion businessman Michael Zucker and longtime Ohio broadcaster Mark Hiner.

Michael stated “Ron Scheiderer of Studio 51 Multimedia Productions and his team did a great service by bringing TV22.1 to Marion. Mark and I hope to take it to the next level and increase the amount of local programming and service to our community”.

Ron Scheiderer said “We felt strongly about Marion having it’s own TV station and wanted to see that tradition continue. We have confidence that PNN will continue what we started and continue the tradition of local service to Marion and the surrounding communities”
