Katharine McFarland and Isaiah Smith, both fourth grade students in Candace Thompson’s class at Highland Elementary, recently completed their 40-book challenge.
Both students have read and reflected on 40 books on their reading level from eight different literary genres. Both Katharine and Isaiah are working on their next 40-book challenge where they get to pick which genres they want to read.
