Members of Chester Arbor of the Gleaner Fraternal Insurance Society joined with “Snuggled for Hope” to create quilts for the Flying Horse Farm.

The groups gathered at the Presbyterian Church, Mount Gilead, to work on the quilts.

There was a variety of stages of the progress in putting together these quilts. During a break there was an opportunity for instruction on how triangles can be used to create beautiful colorful quilts. Several examples were shared and some t-shirts from the Farm read “Happy Campers.”

Those words had been readied for incorporation into future quilts. They enjoy having others join them however long they have the time to share.

Lunch for those working on the quilts was provided by Chester Arbor.
