In celebration of its 85th season, the Mansfield Symphony Orchestra & Chorus will present “Drama Kings!” on March 12 at 8 p.m. The event will feature many recognizable works of music’s most emotional composers. From the dramatic “Fate” theme of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony to the tender beauty of the arias of Puccini and Verdi, this program covers all the Romantic bases. The high-energy hijinks of Rossini’s “Barber of Seville” Overture leads to some of opera’s greatest solos and duets, and back again.
The guest soloists will be soprano Heidi Vega and tenor Daniel Stein.
