Hospice of North Central Ohio’s Board of Directors welcomes Dr. Faye Grund and William Levering. Committing to three-year terms, each brings significant expertise and has contributed greatly to healthcare in the region.

Grund, PhD, APRN-BC, is dean of the Dwight Schar College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Ashland University, and is a tenured professor and chief administrative officer at the Mansfield campus. She served as president of the MedCentral College of Nursing from 2008 to 2010, after years of nursing at MedCentral Health System and teaching at North Central State College.

Levering, an Ohio Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, is President and Chairman of the Board at Levering Management in Mount Vernon, Ohio. He owns and operates several skilled nursing centers, a senior living apartment community, and home health care agencies. Levering is Past President of the Ohio Health Care Association, Past Campaign Chair of United Way of Knox County, current Director of First Knox National Bank, and an Ordained Elder of First Presbyterian Church in Fredericktown.

Steve Englet, President of the Hospice of North Central Board of Directors, said, “We are so happy to have these two qualified individuals as additions to our board. Each brings expertise in healthcare and leadership that will benefit HNCO as we continue to serve patients and families in our region.”
