She has worked hard to ensure local news stays the backbone of the Sentinel. Randa is retiring this month. We thank her for ensuring local events of the businesses and organizations, especially non-profit organizations.

All campers at Morrow County’s Flying Horse Farms are greeted with a cozy, comforting quilt waiting for them on their bunk when they come to camp each year. It is a cherished gift they take home with them to remind them of their wonderful time at camp. The group called Snuggled in Hope makes the quilts and meets monthly to ‘tie’ the quilts to have all 600 quilts ready each season! It is a true labor of love! The first Monday of the month the group meets at First Presbyterian Church, Mt. Gilead starting at 9 am. Volunteers to help ‘tie’ are always welcome and appreciated. No experience needed!
