As an FFA member you are faced with numerous fantastic opportunities such as convention, conferences, educational tours, and chapter meetings and banquets as well as the shop experiences. Those events do in fact cost money. For things such as National Convention the chapter tries to pay for a portion of the cost.

“Without this fundraiser it would be difficult for many members to participate in things,” said Tyler Williams when asked why he felt this was an important fundraiser.

This November, the Highland FFA Chapter held it’s annual fruit sale. A variety of fruits and nuts as well as barbecue sauce and jerky was sold. This is the chapter’s largest fundraiser and all members are highly encouraged to sell all the fruit they can to anyone they can. The chapter had another successful sale this fall and many activities will be funded from this fundraiser.
