Marion, Ohio –The Marion Palace Theatre offers Yoga classes for adults year round. The next session of Yoga will begin January 4 for beginning students and January 6 for advanced students. Students also have the opportunity to enroll in a one-day, three hour workshop on January 30. Interested participants are asked to register by phone or in person at least one week before the first class.

Yoga students rave about the restorative power that yoga brings to mind and body. Students learn yoga poses, meditation, stretches, relaxation, body awareness, and breathing techniques and receive instruction geared to personal needs and abilities.

A Restorative Yoga Workshop will take place on Saturday, January 30 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. This one day workshop fee is $25.

In addition to the yoga workshop, seven week yoga sessions are also offered. Monday nights are dedicated to beginning yoga students and Wednesday nights are for the more experienced student. Please bring a sticky mat and dress comfortably. Yoga is instructed by Helene Everson, Certified Yoga Instructor and Yoga Alliance Member. Each session will meet from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Scharer Patron Lounge of the Palace Theatre. Beginning Yoga will start Monday, January 4 and Advanced Yoga begins Wednesday, January 6. Class fees for each session are $35. Palace Theatre members receive a 10% discount. Students who register and pre-pay for more than one class receive a 5% discount off the non member price.
