Humane Society Year-end member meeting coming up

The Humane Society of Morrow County will hold its year-end member meeting Wednesday, December 9 at 7 pm at the Mt. Gilead Library annex. The meeting agenda will include the election of Board members. To cast a vote, an individual must be an active member as of November 1, 2015 and must be in attendance for the entire voting process. Members are encouraged to attend.

Mt. Gilead Schools to hold public forum

The Mount Gilead schools will be hosting a public forum on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015 at 6 p.m. At the Mt. Gilead High School to discuss the 2016-2017 school calendar. The public is invited to attend.

No Limits to hold coat drive

No Limits Outreach Center is preparing for the holidays. Each year we draw 50 families for our holiday give a way. In 2014 we served 193 people with gifts and food. Each family will receive food to make a holiday meal. This year we have decided to do a coat drive. We will accept COATS ONLY for any Morrow County resident in need. We will not accept any other items. Please help us help Morrow County residents. Money, food and coat donations are greatly appreciated. MCH trustees meeting time change

The Morrow County Hospital Board of Trustees December meeting has been changed from Dec. 8 to Dec. 15 at 6 p.m. in Assembly Room A at the hospital.

Mount Gilead Schools wll be hosting a reception/open house at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 in honor of Jeff Sweeney’s 16 years of service as a board member at the board of education office on Cherry Street.

Cardington Library seeks trustee

The Cardington-Lincoln Public Library has a vacancy for a library trustee with a 7-year term beginning January 1, 2016. This is a volunteer position. Dance held every Saturday in Marion

A Dance is held each Saturday from 7-11 p.m. at Sawyer Ludwig Park in the Shrine Building at 1313 White Oaks Rd., Marion. Admission is $8 for adults. No dance will be held Aug. 8 and 15 but will resume Aug 22 and 29. Food and non-alcoholic beverages are available. No smoking.
