Rumpke Thanksgiving Collection Schedule
Rumpke residential waste and recycling collection for will not occur on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015. Service will be delayed one day during the rest of the holiday week. Thursday’s collection will move to Friday, and Friday’s collection will move to Saturday. Regular collection will resume the week after Thanksgiving. No Limits to hold coat drive
No Limits Outreach Center is preparing for the holidays. Each year we draw 50 families for our holiday give a way. In 2014 we served 193 people with gifts and food. Each family will receive food to make a holiday meal. This year we have decided to do a coat drive. We will accept COATS ONLY for any Morrow County resident in need. We will not accept any other items. Please help us help Morrow County residents. Money, food and coat donations are greatly appreciated. Items may be dropped off at 4046 Vine St, Edison, Ohio between 9 am to 3 pm Monday thru Friday. 419-946-5900.
Page Street to close for two days in November
The Fulton Village Council is notifying its residents and all motorists that Page Street will be closed on Nov. 24 at noon and remain closed until noon on Nov. 26.
Next First Presby breakfast is Nov. 26
First Presbyterian Church, 55 N. Cherry St., will host a Fourth Saturday Breakfast, Nov. 26, 7-10 am. The menu will be the popular made-to-order omelets, hash browns, and toast. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children. The proceeds will go to Adopt-a-Family where the church helps several families during the holiday season.
MCH trustees meeting time change
The Morrow County Hospital Board of Trustees December meeting has been changed from Dec. 8 to Dec. 15 at 6 p.m. in Assembly Room A at the hospital.
Dance held every Saturday in Marion
A Dance is held each Saturday from 7-11 p.m. at Sawyer Ludwig Park in the Shrine Building at 1313 White Oaks Rd., Marion. Admission is $8 for adults. No dance will be held Aug. 8 and 15 but will resume Aug 22 and 29. Food and non-alcoholic beverages are available. No smoking.
