AARP Volunteer Tax Aides need your help. We’re looking for individuals from your area to help our small tax group remain functional in Mt. Gilead. We’ve been operating with a skeleton crew of volunteers for some time now.
We’ve thankfully heard from some people willing to step forward to help us to retain our AARP Tax Aide site at The Mt. Gilead Senior Center on Thursdays throughout the tax season. We could still use to have a few more volunteers to assist the taxpayers of Mt. Gilead and surrounding cities.
One needs basic computer knowledge, basic tax knowledge and a desire to help others in a structured environment. We are just ordinary people; no rocket scientists, just caring people assisting others through the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Program.
