MOUNT GILEAD — Many residents were without electricity for days; and it isn’t difficult to imagine the inconvenience, in addition to the extreme heat, last week. Yet when the Sentinel shared updates on Facebook and asked readers to share their storm photos, there was an overwhelming response of, “Please thank those linemen who have been working so hard to get the power back,” so here it is: Thank you, Ohio Edison, Pennsylvania crews, Mount Gilead crews who worked approximately 16 hours a day to restore power.
