Officer Chase Beekman with the Mount Gilead Police Department was recently promoted to sergeant. He was officially sworn in by mayor Jamie Brucker, at right. Also participating in the promotion ceremony was police chief Adam Lakey, left. Sergeant Beekman’s wife Genny pinned the Sergeant’s Badge onto Sgt. Beekman’s uniform.Their children Jack and Lettie were in attendance as well and looked on with smiles.
