CARDINGTON — The 2022 Morrow County Candidate Forum, a non-partisan event, will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, at the Post 97 American Legion Hall in Cardington.

All four of the county-wide candidates for the May primary elections have been invited to participate. They include Tom Whiston, commissioner; Jon Mason, commissioner candidate; Pat Davies, auditor and Connie McChesney, auditor candidate.

Candidates are welcome to distribute literature and signs.

In addition, all members of both the Morrow County Republican and Democratic Parties central committees are elected in the May primary election.

The chairperson of each committee has been invited to speak to the work of the committee as well as to recognize central committee members and candidates in attendance. In addition, all local candidates and those running local ballot issues and

levies are welcome to attend and may distribute literature and signs.

This event will be moderated by Joey Powell and Mike Wilson, co-hosts of the Morrowology podcast and active members of the community.

Morrow County residents are invited to participate by submitting a question in advance at https://forms.gle/vdsmtKh35xVoZzW.16 or submit a question in writing the evening of the event. All citizens are encouraged to attend to hear directly from candidates and to make the most informed choice possible in the election.
