On Wednesday, June 10th, Perry Cook Memorial Library kicked off their 2015 Summer Reading Program with Paul Merklin, “Great Big Faces.”

Paul told the children there are five points of interest on all faces: two eyes, nose, mouth and head shape! He drew several “Super Heroes” for both the children’s and Teen’s programs.

He took a person from the audience and drew his face as a super hero. The Teens drew the super hero right along with Paul. Both groups enjoyed guessing who he was drawing! Our next programs are on Wednesday, June 17th .

The “Transformers,” ages Read-To-Me through 5th grade, will be having the Johnsville Fire Department; including one of the Firemen, Fire Truck and equipment at 10:30 a.m.

Fawn Mollenkopf from the First Knox National Bank in Mt. Gilead, will come and talk with the Teens about banking (how to open a checking account, savings accounts, credit cards, etc).

The library is located at 7406 County Road 242 in Johnsville. Phone: 419-362-7181. Web site: www.perrycooklibrary.com.
