Traffic issue
Officer assisted with traffic control while a semi attempted to back into the parking lot of The Family Dollar.
Theft report
A man on Bank Street said someone took property from his vehicle and vandalized it. He did not want to pursue charges.
Citation
A woman was cited for operating a vehicle without a drivers license and expired regisgration at Main and East Elm streets.
Narcotics
A man was cited for possession of marijuana on South Main Street.
Minor accident
A motorist was struck by another in the parking lot on North Main Street causing property damage only.
Soliciting
A vendor was soliciting on a private property on Lee Street. He was advised to leave and also to get a door-to-door permit in the future.
Domestic issue
Officer responded to an argument on Park Avenue. The male subject became argumentative. He was told to remain calm and that if further problems resulted he would go to jail.
Driver cited
A man was cited at West Center and South Cherry streets for stop sign violation and driving under suspension.
Citation given
A man was cited for driving under suspension and expired registration at West Marion Road and Orchard Drive.
Warrant
A man was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant out of Marion County. He was taken into custody at East Union and North Main streets.
Suspicious activity
A caller advised driving by Chase Bank on North Main Street and seeing a male walking out of the front where the ATM is located. Foot patrol showed no signs of criminal activity.
