Starting October 1, Cardington residents will no longer be able to pay their utility bills through their bank.
This announcement was made September 8 at the Cardington Village Council meeting. Village Fiscal Officer Deb Fry told council that the banks will stop accepting utility payments effective September 30, 2015.
There will be a drop box at the municipal building available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for all residents.
