“Into the Woods” will make its Galion debut 8 p.m. June 19 at Galion Community Theatre, 127 Harding Way W.

The production will also run 8 p.m. June 26-27 as well as 2 p.m. June 28.

PORTMAN REP TO VISIT BUCYRUS – U.S. Senator Rob Portman’s (R-Ohio) staff will hold office hours 9:30-10:30 a.m. June 16 at Bucyrus City Hall Chambers, 500 S. Sandusky St., Bucyrus.

Portman will not be at the event, but a district representative will provide feedback to him.

“Keeping an open dialogue with constituents is a top priority for me and I encourage people to take advantage of the opportunity to talk to a member of my staff,” Portman said in a press release. “I’ve traveled to every county in the state and have found it helpful to hear about the issues that are of primary concern to Ohioans. Listening to constituents enables me to better determine how I can fight for their interests in Washington.”

BIBLE SEMINAR PLANNED – Ohio Central Bible College will hold its summer seminar 10 a.m.-3 p.m. July 11.

The topic is “An Introduction to Christian Theology.” Tuition is $20 per person with lunch included. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m.

VINTAGE BASEBALL SET – The Galion Historical Society will present an Ohio Village Vintage Baseball game at noon June 21 at HomeCare Matters, 1220 N. Market St. The event is free.

CHEF BATTLE SCHEDULED – The Galion Public Library will host a chef battle featuring the Cooking Caravan on June 20.

The first battle is planned for 1:30 p.m. and is open to children and families and the second battle is planned for 3 p.m. and is open to teens and adults.
