ARRESTS MADE

A man was arrested on West Marion Road on an active warrant out of Delaware County. A woman was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence, with a charge of possession of methamphetamine pending test results.

FIREARM FOUND

A woman reported finding a pistol in a vehicle that belonged to someone else. It was turned in to the department to hold until he claims it.

MOTORIST CITED

A driver was cited on South Main Street for no operator’s license and turn signal violation.

BUILDING STRUCK

A motorist accidentally struck an apartment building on Douglas Street. He was cited for failure to control.

VEHICLES TOWED

An apartment complex owner had three vehicles towed from the site on Lee Street after multiple warnings to the owner to move them. An officer oversaw the situation without incident.

ID THEFT

A resident said his phone had been hacked and his passwords changed.

FRAUD REPORTED

A woman said she was the victim of fraud and had sent cash to someone acting as the electric company.

ASSISTS EMS

An officer assisted EMS personnel with a man who had overdosed. He was given Narcan and taken to the hospital.

FELONY WARRANT

A man was taken on a felony arrest warrant out of Marion County.

THEFT

Someone broke into a man’s horse trailer at the Morrow County Fairgrounds, causing damage to the lock and stealing a spare tire.

DOMESTIC COMPLAINT

A man on North Walnut Street said he had video evidence of his girlfriend assaulting him with a hammer and that he was removing himself from the residence. No one was at the residence when officers arrived.

ALARM DROP

An officer responded to Dunkin’ Donuts. The building was vacant.
