GALION — Today’s Galion Graders baseball game has been postponed due to rain, according to team officials.
The Graders (2-5) were supposed to play the Lorain County Ironmen (1-4) at James D. Heddleson Field at Heise Park. No make-up date has been scheduled yet, team officials said.
Crawford, Morrow, Marion, Richland and Knox are among the 28 counties across northern Ohio under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 9 p.m. today, according the National Weather Service in Cleveland. Other counties in the watch area are Ashland, Wyandot, Seneca, Huron, Lorain, Sandusky, Ottawa, Hancock, Lucas and Wood. A dozen counties in northeast Ohio are also in the watch area.
The Graders are scheduled to play host to the Grand Lake Mariners at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Heise Park.
