Mount Gilead High School Class of 1964 Reunion was held Sept. 14 at McChesney’s Ice Cream Parlor in Cardington. Classmates gathered together to celebrate their unique bond. That is going to school together for many years and remaining friends. There were 29 classmates and 16 spouses present coming from Oregon, Texas, Michigan, Alabama and Florida as well as Ohio. Emcee for the evening was Sara Beth Calhoun. She recognized each classmate in attendance with a special tribute or memory. Meal was catered by Cathy Garismof. Reunion cake made by Rhett Long Burke. There was a memorial display honoring those who has passed away. Table decorations by Linda Wolford and Jan Cox. Planning committee: Karen McCelland, Eddie Lou Meimer, Jan Cox, Linda Wolford, Diane Cook, Ann Cotton, Gene Hollingsworth, Barb Snow and Rheta Burke.
