The following work is planned in the Morrow County area on the specified dates and times. All work is weather dependent; it may be postponed or cancelled without prior notice.

MONDAY, AUGUST 24

Chestnut Ridge Road (NEW) – Chestnut Ridge Road will be closed between Buckley Road and W. Point-Bellville Road starting at 7 a.m. for a bridge replacement. The detour for eastbound traffic is W. Point Bellville Road to Buckley Road to Chestnut Ridge Road. The detour for westbound traffic is W. Point Bellville Road to Cardington Iberia Road to SR-309 to Chestnut Ridge Road. Completion: November 30th.

ONGOING

State Route 229 – SR 229 will be closed over I-71 starting at 7 a.m. for bridge replacement. The detour is SR 61 to SR 521 to SR 656 or reverse. Completion: December 24th.

US Route 42 – Starting at 7 a.m., US 42 will be closed between SR 314 and SR 19 for a bridge replacement. The detour is SR 314 to SR 97 to SR 288 to SR 19 or reverse. Commuting to and from Lexington and Mt. Gilead, the detour is SR 97 to SR 288 to SR 61 or reverse. Completion: November 11th.

State Route 529 –SR 529 will be reduced to one lane for two-way traffic at SR 61 starting at 7 a.m. for construction of a retaining wall. Traffic will be maintained by a temporary traffic signal. Completion: August 31st.
