Prowler report

A Town Street resident said a man was looking through the west door of the residence. He was wearing a checkered shirt or coat. He was not found.

Drunk

A man was passed out on the pavement on West High Street. He was taken to his residence and given a drunk and disorderly warning.

Stolen vehicle

A Highland Avenue resident reported her vehicle taken by someone known to her. It was entered as stolen and a bulletin was issued.

Citations issued

A man was cited for driving under suspension and possession of drug paraphernalia on Town Street. The vehicle was impounded.

Theft

A man reported his wallet, varmint light and binoculars stolen from his van while parked on West Center Street.

Clothes stolen

A woman reported clothes stolen from the dryer at Duds N Suds.

Money taken

A man reported a woman he met online stole $500 from his wallet and ran out the door of his Delaware Street residence while he was in another room getting her a cola. Through investigation, it was found that the she was likely a prostitute.

Tablet stolen

A man reported his Kindle Fire tablet stolen on Marion Road.

Vandalism

A man reportedly damaged a speaker at Family Dollar before fleeing the scene.

Burglary

A woman reported a relative’s television stolen from a Westview Drive residence. Entry was gained by removing an air conditioner from a window.

Fire in alley

A man on Highland Avenue had a bonfire in the alley behind the residence. It was close to the garage and he was advised to put it out.

Overdose

Officer assisted with an overdose on North Walnut Street. A man was revived, treated and taken to the hospital.

Money taken

A woman reported someone took money from her bank account.

Vehicles collide

Two vehicles struck at the intersection of West High and Delaware streets causing property damage only.

Driver cited

A man was cited for driving under suspension on North Main Street.

Deer struck

A motorist said he struck a deer on U.S. 42 and SR 61 causing the vehicle damage. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Citations issued

A man was cited at Westview Drive and Marion Road for turn signal violation and being a suspended driver.

Driver cited

A woman was cited on South Main Street for driving under suspension.
