MOUNT GILEAD — Morrow County voters narrowly passed one levy and defeated another during Tuesday’s general election.
The 911 system levy passed 6,479 to 6,337. The Morrow County OSU Extension renewal levy failed, 6,465 to 6,383.
However, the Mount Gilead Exempted Village School District; Additional, income tax 0.5%, 5 years, current expenses, failed by 27 votes, falling 1,599 to 1,572.
A total of 13,152 voters went to the polls here, which is just under 52 percent.
