For the first time in two years, McDonald’s Family Restaurant in Mount Gilead held McStaff Night with members of the Cardington-Lincoln Middle School staff serving as hosts from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18.

Tolly Brockbader, manager, explained the staff earns a percentage of products sold during that time span. A spokesperson for the staff said the money helps fund the end of school year dance and other activities.

Brockbader said staff members helped greet customers, distribute samples for her and present the ordered food to diners.

Birdie and Grimace, McDonald’s characters, helped with hosting.

Staff members working the two hour shift were Angela Adams, Emily Marconi, Anne Thomas, Diana McClure, Eileen Chappell and Jenny Zierden, Middle School Principal.
