CARDINGTON — Participating in the recent State Urban Soils Contest, the Cardington FFA placed 30th.

The contest, held Oct. 13, determined how efficient the soil would be for building a house and took two different tests to

determine their knowledge of the soil. The top scorer from Cardington was Jacob Levering placing 91st in the state, closely followed by Dylan Goodman who placed 96th and Delisa Goodman, who placed 127th.

The team was very proud to make it to state and the chapter was excited to compete in their first state contest of the school year.
