Perry Cook Memorial Library is offering:
A FREE Saturday Night Concert will be held August 15th at 6:30p.m. The group “Chestnut Ridge” will sing Christian Bluegrass music. The concert will be held in the library’s parking lot so bring your lawn chair. In case of rain the concert will be held in the community room. Refreshments will be sold.
Sign up now for Fall A2Z school, for children entering kindergarten in 2016. A2Z meets on Mondays September through May. The morning class begins at 9:00a.m. and ends at 11:00a.m. The afternoon class begins at 12:00p.m. and ends at 2:00p.m. Please state which class you would like your child to attend. There is limited space in each class. Please call the library for more information and to register your child. Classes begin Monday, September 14th. Free.
Registration for Fall Story Hour, for ages 3 to 5 year olds has begun. It is offered at two locations: the library in Johnsville and at the Iberia United Methodist Church at 3664 State Route 309. The Iberia Story Hour is on Thursdays, September through May, at 10:30 a.m. beginning September 17th.
At the library in Johnsville, Story Hour is offered on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10:30a.m. beginning Tuesday, Sept. 15 and Wednesday, Sept. 16. Please call to register your child. Free.
