The Cardington-Lincoln Public Library is in full swing to be prepped and ready for an amazing summer reading program. The library is participating in the National theme for this year: Build a Better World. Miss Hillary, the Youth Services Librarian, has planned crafts, activities, and entertainers that fit that theme. The Summer Reading Program will run from June 5 to July 8, with early registration starting May 30. Crafts will take place Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00p.m. These will be stop-in crafts and patrons are encouraged to go at their own pace while creating. Entertainers will be on Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. except for The Armstrong Air and Space Museum which will be at the library June 21 at 10:30 a.m. The library will be opening early to accommodate this program. The library will continue Tail Waggin’ Tutors on Mondays at 11:00 a.m. Participants will need to sign up in advance for this program. The library is also starting a new program – Lego Club! Lego Club will be held on Tuesdays at 3:00 p.m. Participants will also need to sign up in advance for this program. “We are excited for this year and think it will be one of our best years yet”, said Hillary. “We can’t wait to see the library full of children and their families.” If you have any questions regarding the Summer Reading Program, please call the Cardington-Lincoln Public Library at 419-864-8181.
