Cardington village welcomes Attorney Mindy Yocum, who has opened her office at 114 West Main Street, Unit three.

A graduate of The Ohio State University she earned her law degree from Capital University, Columbus.

A Shelby native Yocum said her path to Cardington began when she met Mayor Susie Peyton at a Mount Gilead meeting.

“She asked me to visit Cardington for a tour and to meet some of the people. I love the atmosphere in Cardington and I am really impressed by the work that the community has done to make it a great place for people to work and live. My hope is to continue the growth of Cardington by providing an affordable legal resource to the people there.”

Mayor Peyton commented “I’m glad she chose Cardington.”

Referencing her practice, Yocum said “my fees are based on income – if people can’t afford it, I try to figure a way to make it work.”

She also has an office in Columbus and will be available in Cardington by appointment and on Friday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. She can be reached by calling 740-972-9765.

A resident of Dublin, Yocum has two sons, 15 and 13.
