Mount Gilead Police cited and released a driver on West Marion Road for driving under suspension.
April 20- OVI
An officer was dispatched to a gas station on West High Street to respond an unconscious driver. The officer who was dispatched to the scene cited and arrested the operator for an OVI.
April 20- Property damage incident
Police responded to an accident at the intersection of Main and High Street.
April 21- Assist other unit
An officer was dispatched to assist the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office with a combative person who was under the influence of narcotics.
April 22- Animal complaint
Mount Gilead Police responded to a report of a trapped feline in the playground equipment at a church.
April 22- Vandalism
Police investigated a complaint of a smashed window at an East Center Street business.
April 23- Assist other unit
An officer was dispatched to assist the Morrow County EMS to transport a male patient to the hospital.
April 23- Alarm drop
Police were called to an East Union Street business in regards to an alarm.
April 23- Neighbor complaint
A South Delaware Street resident called to complain about her neighbors making too much noise.

Mount Gilead Police were called to assist the MCSO with a vehicle stop. Following a search of the operator’s car, MGPD and MCSO found a loaded magazine, pills, a ground white substance in a salt shaker and a cigarette pack with a straw in it. The driver was cited for driving under suspension and the contraband was seized by the deputy.
April 23- Disorderly conduct
An officer was dispatched to a South Delaware Street after a woman reportedly called her neighbor’s children racial and gender slurs. She was arrested for disorderly conduct.
April 24- Theft
MGPD was called to an investigate a theft on Park Street.
April 24- Property damage
An officer was dispatched to a property damage accident on West High Street.
April 25- Juvenile complaint
Mount Gilead Police were called to the high school to investigate a complaint of students leaving the grounds without permission.

An unknown caller reported finding several needles on the ground at Fort Gilead.

A caller reported that someone was riding a four-wheeler in the alleys between High Street and Lincoln Avenue.

A North Vine Street resident reported that his toolbox was stolen from his garage.
April 26- Juvenile complaint
A water department employee reported that several juveniles at the recreation center were throwing rocks at the poolhouse.
April 26- Assault
Mount Gilead Police were called to a West Marion Road business to investigate a complaint that a two customers were involved in a physical altercation.
