Clyde and Mary Thomas celebrate 65 years of marriage on Dec. 9, 2016.
Clyde is the son of Dale and Pearl Thomas of Cardington. Mary is the daughter of Hugh and Pearl Fogle of Chesterville. They were married at the home of the bride’s parents on Dec. 9, 1951, by the Reverend George Ager.
Clyde has been in construction and farming since 1951. Mary worked at North American Electric and is a homemaker. They are members of Fairview United Methodist Church.
They have five children: Dennis of Ventura, CA; Marsha (Dan) Levering of Cardington; Roger (Chris) Thomas of Cardington; Dave (Dynda) Thomas of Strongsville, Ohio; and Randy Thomas of Richmond , CA. They also have nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A family gathering is planned to celebrate this day.
