Varner to speak at next TEA Party meeting

Virgil Jefferson Varner II will be guest speaker for the July 20 Morrow County TEA Party meeting, 7 pm at the Mount Gilead Library Annex, 34 East High Street in the rear.

Jeff will give a very interesting talk, as he served in the Tennessee Guard and was awarded the Command Sergeant Major Award for 2003. In 2005 he was appointed to the rank of Major in the Army Service Branch Pentagon for Homeland Security functions. Although sent to Baghdad, Iraq, as an Electrical Engineer yet he was tasked to finish the build of a 500 million dollar project that ended up at 2.2 billion dollars.

Mr. Varner will talk about Government Gone Astray, what he has seen firsthand that most people do not hear about in the comfort of their homes back in the States. Also at this July 20 meeting the winning ticket for the Taurus Judge Public Defender Polymer Revolver will be drawn. This will be brief.
