A heavy rain did not deter the community from attending the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting ceremony for 8 Sisters Bakery located in the new Bonecutter Mall.

The Bonecutter Mall is located at 6200 State Route 95 near the I-71 intersection. In addition to 8 Sisters Bakery, the mall also houses a Speed Queen Laundromat and Wash World, an ECO Car Wash.

Prior to the official Ribbon Cutting ceremony, Cathy Francis, Executive Director of the Morrow County Chamber of Commerce remarked that 8 Sisters was recently recognized with the Gazelle Award, as the fastest-growing business in Morrow County in the past year by Morrow County Chamber of Commerce.

Pat Davies, County Auditor, presented owner Emma Lister and the 8 Sisters team with a proclamation from Gov. Kasich and Lt. Gov. Taylor which recognizes the positive contribution the business is making in the county and the State.

Rocky Bonecutter, developer of the mall noted that they day was “all about Emma and the 8 Sister’s Bakery.” He thanked his wife Kris, builder Denny Leveringm as well as Lister and her staff.

Lister thanked Bonecutter as well as recognizing and thanking her staff. “Growth is never by mere chance; it is the result of forces working together.”

Attendees toured their new operations and sampled their baked goods, soup and sandwiches from their new menu.

This 8 Sisters Bakery has 25 team members who were all very proud to showcase their contributions to the business.

The Bonecutter Mall will soon be breaking ground for an additional project. More information will be released in the next few weeks.
