The annual pie and cake auction held at the Morrow County Fair generated $3,670. The money is divided evenly between the building fund and the arts and crafts department.

The Grand Champion Youth Cake, a white cake with chocolate icing and raspberry filling, was baked by Kasey Kincaid and

purchased for $275 by Morrow County Pork Producers represented by Cassady Neviska and Marissa Hall.

The Reserve Champion Youth Cake, a cinnamon crunch toast, was baked by Kinley Holtsberry and purchased by Mike Porter for $250.

Melissa Ferrarachio baked the Grand Champion cake, a Pumpkin Spice, that was purchased for $225 by the Morrow County Republicans.

A Lemon Blueberry cake, baked by Jayne Rummer, was named the Reserve Champion cake and it was purchased by Tom and Meegan Elkin and Sheriff John Hinton for $200.

The Grand Champion pie, a black raspberry, was baked by Lynn Fraizer and was purchased for $650 by Cutripi and Associates Financial Group.

Reserve champion pie, a pecan, was baked by Vickie McKinney and purchased by Mike Porter.

Others baking pies that were sold included Teresa Queen, Mary Walker, Alicia Davis, Warner Way Farm, Robin LaRoche; Renee Holtsberry, Linda Fraizer, Emily Ball, Mary Walker, Melinda Henderson, Marlean Rhea, Teresa Queen, Eyan Emerson, Charlotte Benedict, Kahlan Ball, Elizabeth Emerson, Charlene Shadel, Cindy Chapman, Justin Hershberger, Richard Sears and Melissa Ferrachio.

In addition to those named the following purchased pies: Maggie Clark, Burgess Castle, Morrow County Cattlemen’s Association; Dick Miller, Charlie Howland, The Shirley Family, Seniors on Center, Wick and Wick and the Morrow County Democrats.

Auctioneers were Bill Creswell and Brandon Strain.
