No one was injured in a car versus boat accident that occurred shortly before 11 am Sunday morning near the 5900 block of State Route 61 N. just outside the Mount Gilead Village limits.
Witnesses at the scene report that it appeared that a Red Chevy Aveo travelling northbound veered left of center striking a boat and trailer being transported by a GMC Sienna.
Neither vehicle had passengers.
Responding to the scene were emergency crews from the Mt. Gilead Fire Department, Morrow County EMS and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
