The children of Keith and Ruth Ann Linnabary would like to invite the public to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary reception and music program on July 30 from 4 – 8 p.m. at 43 Brinkerhoff Avenue in Mansfield.

Keith Linnabary and Ruth Ann Hatfield, both from Centerber, were married at the Sunbury Church of Christ on Aug. 28, 1966, with family and friends present.

They took up residence near Sunbury for the first five years of their marriage, where Keith was beginning their farming operation and Ruth Ann was completing her masters of social work from The Ohio State University.

Keith graduated from OSU with a Bachelor of Science in agriculture education in 1971.

For the past 45 years, they have lived on their farm at 4325 County Road 124 in Cardington, except for six years when Keith was assistant farm manager for OARDC in Wooster.

Ruth Ann was a psychotherapist for 40 years as the owner of a private practice and employed at other agencies.

She also was an adjunct instructor at Mount Vernon Nazarene University for a number of years. They are members of Gilead Friends Church and have participated in Bible studies and their home group.

Since semi-retiring, they live full-time in their RV having sold their homestead to their son, Adam. They spend their winters in Arizona and summers traveling between Staten Island, NY and Ohio, enjoying their children, their spouse and 11 grandchildren. Their daughters are Sarah Scamardella, Tara Linnabary-Porter and Abigail Nicolaou.
