Results from Lake Erie trawl surveys revealed that walleye hatches were exceptional and yellow perch hatches were below average in 2023, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife.

The Mount Gilead swim team competed Saturday against River Valley, Elgin, Upper Sandusky, Mansfield Senior, Marion Pleasant and Marion Harding.
Highland wrestling second in home invitational
Highland finished second in the 15-team Jeremy Ammons Kilted Klassic on Saturday, scoring 164.5 points. Dublin Coffman won the event.
