Northmor was able to pick up a home KMAC volleyball win at Cardington’s expense on Monday, claiming the match by scores of 25-12, 25-13, 14-25 and 25-23.
Madi Abrams had 10 kills for the Golden Knights. Layla Castle added nine kills and two blocks. Both Lizzie Erlsten and Hannah James had seven kills, with Erlsten also contributing seven aces and 27 assists, and James adding three blocks. Also, Mary Dean had four aces and 13 digs, while Makayla Sutton had three aces, Kallie Wright finished with 15 digs and Maya Trainer had eight digs.
For Cardington, Madison Caulkins tallied 10 kills and six blocks. Alexis Longsdorf finished with six kills, two blocks, eight digs and 15 assists. Lundyn Blevins added six kills and Taylor Prince had seven digs. Rylee Donkin finished with three aces and 16 digs.
Mount Gilead Indians
Mount Gilead was topped on the road by Ridgedale in a non-conference volleyball match.
The Rockets won in three sets by scores of 25-17, 25-22 and 25-22 in the Monday contest.
