On Tuesday, Cardington traveled to East Knox and was able to pick up a 25-21, 22-25, 25-22, 25-19 win over the Bulldogs.
Lundyn Blevins tallied 10 kills in the win to go with two aces, Alexis Longsdorf finished with eight kills, three blocks, eight digs and 19 assists. Both Celia Hall and Madison Caulkins had six kills, with Caulkins adding two blocks and Hall having eight digs. Chloe Nida picked up three aces and Taylor Prince finished with eight digs. Rylee Donkin added two aces and 16 digs.
Northmor Golden Knights
On Tuesday, Northmor earned a KMAC win over Danville by scores of 25-21, 25-19 and 25-16.
Wednesday saw the Golden Knights venture out of league and pick up a home 3-1 win over Liberty Union. The scores were 23-25, 25-17, 25-17 and 25-23.
Highland Scots
Highland fell into a three-way tie with Pleasant and Shelby atop the MOAC after dropping a 3-2 decision at Shelby on Tuesday.
In the match, which was decided by scores of 25-20, 25-21, 23-25, 17-25 and 11-25, the Scots got 39 kills, six aces and five blocks from Kameron Stover. Kendal Kline had 47 assists and six aces on the night, while Reagan Maibach picked up 47 assists and six aces. Addie Mullins had three kills and three blocks, Makaylee Merckling added 15 digs and Jossalyn Varney contributed four blocks.
Mount Gilead Indians
On Tuesday, the Mount Gilead volleyball team suffered a KMAC setback by scores of 25-9, 25-10 and 25-16 at home against Fredericktown.
Competing in a non-league contest at home against Colonel Crawford on Wednesday, the Lady Indians split the first two sets by identical 25-23 scores before falling 25-18 and 25-20 in the third and fourth to drop the match.
