Highland VB still perfect; Northmor suffers first loss

Highland kept rolling in volleyball, defeating Mount Gilead at home by a 25-5, 25-8, 25-12 margin Tuesday night.

The Scots got eight kills and three aces from Raina Terry, while Ashton Terrill picked up six kills and five aces. Also, Krista Walters finished with four kills and seven aces. The JV and freshman Highland teams also won their matches.

Northmor Knights

Northmor absorbed their first loss of the 2016 volleyball season at Centerburg Tuesday, as the Trojans took a 25-23, 25-14, 25-22 decision.

Kelsie Fike had nine kills for the Knights, while Anna Donner added seven kills, three blocks and 15 digs. Both Rayanna Loyer and Hope Miracle had one block. Jordyn Zoll contributed 13 assists and 12 digs and Caitlin Thebeault finished with three aces and 13 digs. Christianna Boggs added 13 digs.

The JV Knights also suffered their first loss of the season versus the Trojans.
