The Morrow County Historical Society hosted its “official” grand opening and dedication ceremony of the Morrow County History Center located at 17 W. High Street in Mount Gilead on Saturday.

“This is the county’s museum,” shared MCHS president Mike Wilson. “Morrow County has a rich history and we are proud to display artifacts from all of the county.”

The museum will observe normal operating hours on Wednesdays from 2-4 p.m. and Sundays 2-5 p.m. through the end of November.

The history center will be closed December, January, Feburary and March. Group tours available by appointment.
