The Highland freshman boys’ basketball team defeated Elgin 42-16 on Tuesday.
The Scots took a 15-4 lead after the first quarter and increased it to a 29-10 margin at the half as they cruised to the win. Chase Carpenter scored 12 points to lead Highland, while Isaiah Stoneburner added 10.
