In a tough J.C. Gorman field, Northmor finished 10th among 33 teams with 72 points over the weekend.

In the two-day tournament, the Knights had three grapplers earn places. Conan Becker took third at 132 pounds to lead the way for Northmor. After winning his first two matches, he lost to fall to the consolation bracket. However, he would rebound to win two more bouts, including a 5-0 win over Drew Crabtree of Perkins in the third-place match.

Both Jake Neer (106) and Aaron Kitts (120) placed sixth. Neer won his first two matches before dropping three, while Kitts split his first two matches, won two in a row to assure himself of a spot on the podium and then lost his final two.

Six more Northmor wrestlers claimed at least one win over the two days. Brad Baker went 3-2 at 152 pounds, while both Jake Farley (138) and Matthew Ross (145) claimed two wins. Ben Singer (170), D.J. Christo (182) and Nathan Price (195) all earned one win.

Cardington finished 33rd with nine points. Taiylor Hubley (106), Adam Hook (126) and Gabriel McAvoy (285) all earned one win in the tournament.
