MANSFIELD, OHIO. Irving Berlin’s White Christmas the Musical will be performed at the Renaissance for two weekends in November. The musical features a local cast of performers and is based on the timeless 1954 film starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen.

Performances run November 14th at 8 p.m., November 15th at 2:30 p.m., November 21st at 8 p.m. and November 22nd at 2:30 p.m. at the Renaissance Theatre.

Singers Bob Wallace, portrayed by Brian Hupp, and Phil Davis, portrayed by Ryan Shreve, join the sister act of Betty (Maddie Beer) and Judy Haynes (Madeline Carter) and head to Vermont. There, the men run into their former commander from World War II, General Waverly. Wallace and Davis learn that Waverly’s Inn is having financial troubles. The foursome sets up a holiday musical spectacular to help Waverly’s financial situation while falling in love at the same time.

The musical is directed by Michael Thomas and includes many of Irving Berlin’s popular songs from the film, such as “Blue Skies,” “Sisters” and “White Christmas.” The cast includes Gabriella Allen, Alisha Anable, Katie Baughn, Maddie Beer, Tucker Boggs, Madeline Carter, Bob Gardner, Nykera Gardner, Sydney Genter, Gage Goodwin, Alyesa Gregory, Carol Heininger, Marie Heininger, Samuel Heininger, Brian Hupp, Adena King, Louie Kurtzman, Alli Lange, Krystal Lawrence, Howard Leuthold, Mike Miller, Caleb Naugle, Hannah Oberlin, Colton Penwell, Pam Phillips, Anna Scheurer, Ryan Shreve, McKenna Stoffer, Chesley Talisse, Deon Taylor, Melissa Thompson, Lori Turner, and Condrea Webber.
