RECRUITING UPDATE

Jonathon Cooper, a 2016 Ohio State verbal commitment at defensive end from Gahanna Lincoln, had three sacks in a 30-0 win over Groveport Madison last week.

Westerville South sophomore running back Jaelen Gill, who already has an Ohio State offer, ran for five touchdowns and 255 yards against Canal Winchester last week. He also attended the Michigan State-Oregon game.

Robert Hainsey, a junior offensive tackle from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., and Ty Chandler, a junior wide receiver from Nashville, both used Twitter to announce they have offers from Ohio State.
