The Highland freshmen baseball team dropped a pair of games to Olentangy Orange on Saturday.

In the opener, they fell 5-4 in the home game. Reese Weissenfluh and Jarin Vasquez combined to strike out three and walk five, while giving up six hits. Vasquez picked up the loss in the contest. Both Cole Pinkerton and Clay Matthews had two hits and Tate Tobin added a double.

The second game finished with Orange winning 15-12. Tobin, Pinkerton and Dana Hicks all pitched for Highland, with Tobin being the pitcher of record. Both Matthews and Tobin tallied two hits in the game.
