Cardington baseball field gets new name


Cardington High School’s baseball field was recently renamed “Bill Clauss Field” in honor of the former baseball coach for the Pirates. Clauss (third from right), who currently is the athletic director at Cardington, is pictured with several of the players from his 1979 team, which won the Class A state title with a 28-4 record.
