Northmor held on to top Fredericktown by a 38-37 margin on Friday.

In the league contest, the Knights jumped out to a 13-8 lead after the first quarter, which they increased to a 24-15 margin by the half. However, the Freddies would take the third by a 9-8 margin and then outscored Northmor 13-6 over the final eight minutes to rally within one before Northmor held on for the win.

Highland Scots

On Saturday, Ontario pulled away from Highland in the second half and topped the Scots by a 63-37 margin.

The game was close in the first half, with the Warriors leading 18-12 after the opening quarter and 34-26 at the half. However, Highland would be outscored 17-3 in the third quarter and 12-8 in the fourth to allow Ontario to take the non-league win.

Three players accounted for all Highland’s points. Alex Mason scored 18, Mack Anglin added 11 and Andrew Wheeler finished with eight. Mason hit four three-pointers in the game.

Cardington Pirates

A huge fourth quarter comeback boosted East Knox past Cardington Friday by a 47-45 margin.

After a slow start saw the Pirates fall into a 13-9 hole after eight minutes of play, they rallied to within an 18-17 margin by the half and then jumped out to a commanding 39-25 lead in the third period. However, Cardington was outscored 22-6 in the fourth, as the Bulldogs rallied for the win.

Cardington’s Trey Williams scored 15 points to lead the team, while both Garrett Wagner and Devin Pearl added nine each. Wagner hit three three-pointers in the game.
