Both Mount Gilead and Northmor suffered week nine losses in football play.
In a high-scoring contest, MG fell to Centerburg by a 63-37 margin. The Indians will finish their season at home against Highland in an attempt to spoil the Scots’ dreams of winning a share of the Blue Division title.
Northmor fell 41-3 to Fredericktown, another team battling for a league championship. Next week, the Knights will look to finish their season on a positive note at home against Elgin.
