The Northmor Lady Knights placed second among 14 teams in the Crestline Invitational Tuesday, finishing three points behind Fredericktown in the race.

Kristen Duryea was the individual champion, winning in 19:57.04. Brooke Bennett took ninth in 21:05.55, Samantha Peters finished 10th in 21:10.38 and Isabelle Ditullio ran 12th in 21:14.57. Reanne McDonald placed 18th in 21:49.06, while Selena Cortez took 20th in 21:54.36 and Sydney Jennette was 26th in 22:26.7.

Also, Rachel Morrison finished 29th, Samantha Grogg placed 47th, Sara Drumm was 72nd, Kate Stiver ran 81st, Danielle Bettis finished 82nd, Allyssa Pearce was 89th, Naomi Heilman ran 97th and Monique Metzger was 101st.

The Cardington Lady Pirates finished seventh in the race, with Sage Brannon placing 31st in 22:25.12. Alicia McElwee was 44th in 23:30.5, while Jessica Shook took 56th in 24:33.99. Also, Abby Lorimer was 58th in 24:37.44, Bailey Shafer ran 63rd in 24:53.78 and Ashlee Drury was 120th in 36.32.

Gilead Christian’s Lindsey Millinger competed, running 55th in 24:31.53.

In the boys’ race, Cardington placed third. Colonel Crawford took home the team championship.

The Pirates were led by Jacob Long, who broke his own school record with a time of 15:39.62. Josh Queener was ninth in 17:22.61, while Mike Queener finished 23rd in 17:58.39 and Quinn Maceyko placed 29th in 18:22.34. Greg Osborne took 65th in 19:52.9, Spencer Benson ran 69th in 19:57.67 and Jakob Edgell took 84th in 20:32.91.

Northmor finished one spot back in fourth place, as Spencer Adams ran 13th in 17:36.42, A.J. White took 21st in 17:55.7 and James Walker finished 27th in 18:21.02. Alec Moore was 33rd in 18:48.52 and B.J. White finished 38th in 19:06.36, while Chase Hoover was 41st in 19:10.6 and Aaron Berg placed 44th in 19:20.71.

Also, Collin Berg finished 45th, Mostyn Evans took 51st, Kyle Price was 58th, Ryan Bentley placed 63rd, Kaleb Hart ran 70th, Manny Heilman claimed 72nd, Josh Cramer was 110th, Cole Dille finished 111th, Ethan Chapman crossed 121st, Chandler Somerlot was 125th and Brody Bishop took 141st.

For Gilead Christian, Brad Mohre was 24th in 18:09.34, while Sean Linder took 37th place in 19:00.27 and Justin Jones finished 73rd in 20:04.99.
